Living History | Den Spiesdraegers 1625
2 October 2021 - 3 October 2021

In July they were already visiting the Castle for a weekend and they liked it so much that they will return this weekend: Den Spiesdraegers 1625 with their pikes of up to 5 meters!
After Hendrik II of Brederode, Big Beggar, had fanned the fire for the Eighty Years’ War, William of Orange took over in the fight against the Spaniards after his death, until he was murdered. Den Spiesdraegers fight on and call on young and old to join the army of the Prince of Orange.
And some former medieval residents will come to live this weekend as well.
Both days from 11 am to 5 pm.
