The Brederode Castle is open from March to October:

The entrance to the tea garden is free during regular opening days.

Free parking in our car park.

Dogs are welcome as well.

PIN (Maestro) is possible. We do not accept credit cards. A museum Yearcard is unfortunately not valid for the ruin of Brederode.

Different entrance fees and opening hours

For events, tours, concerts and public holidays, there are often adjusted prices and/or opening hours. See the calendar for more information. The entrance to tea garden is not always for free on these days.

The ruin is easily accessible by train. See www.ov9292.nl train station Santpoort-Zuid. After a 10 minutes walk you are at Brederode Castle;

Buurtbus 481 stops nearby (stop ‘ Anna van Saxony Laan ‘, not on Sundays and public holidays).

Unfortunately, the castle itself is poorly accessible for wheelchair users. The tea garden, with some help, can be accessed by them.
